Why do some countries these days invest large amounts of public money in nuclear energy, while players in the private sector have all backed off from such a high-risk activity? What exactly lies behind this headlong rush, one that in the long term can only end in failure?
The starting point for our film is the signing of the September 2016 agreement between France and Great Britain to construct two French EPR-type nuclear reactors at Hinkley Point in South-East England.
