THE ENTRANCE OF THE TRAPPISTS
Running Time: 90'
/ Format: HD
/ Available versions: FR
It’s in the town of Trappes that Jamel Debbouze, Nicolas Anelka and Omar Sy grew up. For the first time they agree to tell us their story, to share with us their memories and their childhood, and especially talk of their ascent. Why them? Did they have more luck, rage or talent than their friends from school or the neighbourhood, in order to stand out? A profile in the image of this Yvelines suburb, sheltering more than 80 different ethnic groups: Jamel is of Moroccan origin. Omar’s parents came from Senegal and Mauritania. Nicolas is a child of Martinique. And all three have one thing in common, the same dream guiding their journey: that one day their families will have a better life.
