Nuremberg
the nazis facing their crimes
It was one of the biggest trials of the 20th century. The one that opened the way for the creation of an international justice system. It was the first trial to be filmed, and yet very few people have ever seen the nearly 25 hours of original footage. For the very first time, a documentary takes viewers inside the courtroom, via the original trial footage filmed by John FordĀ“s crew. Most of it has never before been broadcast; all of it has been fully restored. This gripping face-off with Nazi war criminals lets viewers discover the most powerful moments in this historic trial. It includes interviews with some of the surviving participants, who put the events and their stakes into perspective.
