Today “L’Humanité”, one of the last officially politically oriented newspapers is facing financial difficulties. But the left-wing as well as the right-of-centre consider it unacceptable to let this paper disappear. One hundred years after its creation, the French Press considers “L’Humanité” as a newspaper that is essential to democracy. Is “L’Humanité” a paper like any other?
