Salvadoran artist Consuelo Suncin Sandoval and writer and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry had nothing in common. Yet, from the moment they met in Buenos Aires in September 1930, it was a match made in heaven. Soon they were married and Antoine embarked on the most uncertain journey of his life: loving and being loved by Consuelo. For this free-spirited woman with a fiery temper, it was the beginning of a long and challenging journey: she had to exist for him as much as for herself…
Between 1931 and 1944, separated by continents, historical events and hardships, Antoine and Consuelo never left each other’s side. Through their words and works, the film aims to explore the bonds between this fascinating and mysterious couple.
