Burlesque Romance tells the story of a young artist torn between her career and her loves. A story that leads us into the nocturnal world of the night owls of Paris and Brussels, and the universe of Burlesque as seen by two young women. Through the adventures of Audrey, a dancer and burlesque stripper, and her friend Betty, this film gives a voice to a new generation of artists, and discovers how they are appropriating, reinventing or remaining prisoner to the stereotypes of seduction and gender roles.
