“Old calibers” is a droll and ferocious comedy that tells the story of four pensioners at a senior’s residence called “Les Églantines” (Wild Roses) and of how they transgress the rules in an attempt to reconnect with their emotions of youth past. With the help of Jeanne, a young nurse and Ibrahim, the new caregiver; ever-smiling Emilienne, Irénée the unionist, “Titi”, the eternal ironist and André “double bypass” are going to rob the till of their retirement home and try to assassinate a minister on an of cial visit so as to pick up the votes of senior citizens for the coming elections…
