A Night at Anne Frank’s
Running Time: 54'

Through a combination of archive footage, film extracts and readings, the film invites us on a universal journey into the memory built up around Anne Frank and the Shoah.
Who was Anne Frank? Her literary approach and her impertinent adolescence had often been erased in the various appropriations of the Diary.
Adapted from the book ‘‘Quand tu écouteras cette chanson’’ by the writer Lola Lafon who in August 2021 spent a night at the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, in the very annexe where the young teenager lived in hiding with her family from July 1942 until their arrest on 4 August 1944, the film will question the collective memory and shed a new light on the teenager who wanted to be a writer before becoming an icon.
Based on Quand tu écouteras cette chanson (When you listen to this song) by Lola Lafon, Editions Stock, collection Ma nuit au musée edited by Alina Gurdiel
Adaptation: Lola Lafon and Mona Achache
Directed by Mona Achache
Produced by Schuch Productions
